We use Wistia to host all of our video content. Whether it's our product overview videos, webinar recordings, tutorial videos for our support site or tips and tricks for educators, Wistia gives us the ability to easily add, adjust and track analytics for videos to see how they are performing. Plus, Wistia integrates into our CRM system (HubSpot) to allow us to build follow up emails and outreach plans around user activity like watch times on specific videos, clicks and engagements. With other added features like chapters and transcripts, we can really use the power of Wistia to make our videos as accessible as possible to anyone who is viewing it.

We use all the marketing and accessibility tools WISTIA offers. From calls-to-action, chapterizing, video SEO, and branding the video controls, we could not imagine a more powerful tool to support our brand and offerings. We teach video production and marketing basics and take the time to teach the difference between WISTIA vs. YOUTUBE vs Vimeo. We are obviously HUGE fans of WISTIA and longtime users. We are super fans of their engaging team. They are a fun and highly creative bunch.

- I really can't think of a single thing.
I needed a place to host evergreen video content for my clients in a way that was easy to manage, looked professional on my website, and could provide some level of viewing statistics and analysis. Their features for marketing, advertising, and creating lead magnet videos are great as well. I love the feature where people can watch the first portion of content before being prompted to enter their email address in order to see the rest of the video.

We use Wistia as a customized hosting platform for all any videos we host on our marketing website, including testimonials, help/training videos, course videos, and conference talk recordings. It helps us create a unique video appearance and experience compared to common, free hosting platforms like Youtube or Vimeo, making our videos stand out.
- Wistia enables a lot of customization in the video player, making it personalized to your business.
- The user experience is pretty intuitive and easy to use without too much training.
- Wistia's help articles, blog and instructional videos were very helpful as we began investing more resources into video production.
- It would be nice to have a video player template that you could automatically apply to all the videos you upload. This would save us time when uploading and preparing new videos in Wistia.
Wistia is the platform we upload and share company videos inside our organization and outside to customers. Wistia's tools have supported multiple teams inside our company and make content easily sharable to the public we market to. Every month, our videos are sent to and viewed by hundreds of individuals.

The Best Video Product.
Wistia is a video platform that we use both on the company's website as well as behind the scenes for employees and contributors. It makes everything customizable and it also gives us the option to have a carousel of videos and calls to action. It really works with your company to make it work with your brand.

Wistia is an amazing video player for any size company
We use Wistia for all of our video hosting needs. We use it to house all of our internal training videos as well as our customer-facing videos. It's been great at helping us stay organized with our different video needs across the organization.

Beautiful but expensive video player
We used Wistia for branded About Us videos, auto-playing looping b-roll videos, landing page sales videos, and explainer videos on our blog posts. It also helped us get a better understanding of how users were engaging with our videos from an analytics standpoint. I really liked having full control of player customization.

We used Wistia internally at our agency, and we also support clients who leverage Wistia as well. We use it primarily for marketing, with a few use cases for recorded sales training and internal video communication. We also use the HubSpot integration were feasible for clients with the Wistia plan to support the integration.

Wistia offers a capable, flexible, scaleable, reliable, efficient, and well supported solution
Wilson Dow [is] an experiential event agency. As such we have been leveraging Wistia for both internal and client facing use cases. The features, ease of use, flexibility, and reliability of Wistia allows for infinite applications. The ability to integrate has allowed us to create new tools for delivery of personal user content embedded within video delivery. The more recent additions of channels and podcasts has only further extended capability without complicating process.
- Wistia has particularly good support which proves critical. While we have redundant systems in place, we have yet found the need to leverage our redundant delivery contingency.
- Wistia manages to iterate thoughtfully without complicating the UI/UX nor executional work streams.
- Wistia is accessible and authentic in the way they work with their user base. Whether it be useful content that unearths best practices and use case scenarios, or vetting a new use case to validate, they have done a fine job in building a user community.
- The reliability of the platform is quite solid. Impressive uptime as well as response time.
- More flexibility with podcasts with embed options similar to that of video embeds.
- More flexibility with channels. Channels are a great feature, I'll be eager to see how it iterates.

Wistia is a professional business-class tool
We use it for our clients. Wistia allows for embedded videos with YouTube complications. It is private, fast and does not refer to competitors. Wistia is flexbile, bullet-proof and easy to work with.

The Wonderful World of Wistia
Wistia is used at our organization, mainly within the marketing department, as a means of hosting public-facing marketing videos on our website. The software allows us to duplicate our videos that are also posted on YouTube, without SEO-related penalty. We embed these videos on our website and can customize their look and feel, so they are on-brand. We can give our website users a good experience because they do not have to deal with advertisements as you may have to with embedded YouTube videos. The analytics behind the software also help us understand how well our videos are performing, where there is a drop-off, etc., and we can then report out to department managers and make recommendations for further content ideas.
- Custom branding - Wistia lets you match your brand colors via HTML hex code so you can be sure it is on-brand.
- The analytics behind each video is fascinating and help you truly understand how well your videos perform if they are engaging and hold the audience's attention.
- Various types of calls to action - you can create small pop-up calls to action throughout the video, calls to action at the end, you can ask for email/user info before during or after viewing the video. It helps with the top of the funnel lead gen.
- Price point - they made some changes to their pricing model, and while I still feel it is the best value for what you get, non-profit pricing would be nice.
- Perhaps some deeper SEO capabilities
- Perhaps some deeper insight on users - referral source, etc.
We leverage Wistia as a video content delivery system on our client websites. We've found that Wistia provides a much more professional experience than self-hosting large files, and the analytics and other features like 'call to action' and their 'turnstile' are well worth the price they charge. If you're looking for a way to make your videos stand out on your own website, Wistia is a must!
- Highest quality video streaming no matter the connection speed
- Integration with digital asset managements (with auto publishing from Wipster)
- The customization of videos is still a bit clunky and a multi-page process
- The speed at which videos get encoded is good, wouldn't be mad if it was faster
We use Wistia across the whole organization, for all of our video content. We do use YouTube, but only for video with social/search value. Most of our video content lives within the Wistia platform, even our internal only videos. We switched from Vimeo so we could get better analytics and also use it as a demand gen tool.

- Analytics and data are fantastic.
- Very easy to customize the styling so it looks embedded.
- Would love it to allow the capture of more data on the turnstile.
- More platform integrations: struggled to get the data to Salesforce, had nothing for Pardot or Act-On.

Video/image platform full of capability
Wistia is a great hosting platform to organize videos into different projects and maintain control of your content without a big mess. There are different levels of users to give everyone on your team the correct access to your videos. Statistics allow you to see in-depth stats about each individual video. You can leave comments on or off and change the colors and surrounding look of your video player. Many embed options allow you to post your videos on many platforms. Wistia is a truly custom video player that comes at a cost.

Wistia: Videos and More!
Within my organization, Wistia is mostly being used as a storage location for our various educational videos and webinars. It is currently not specified to a specific department, however, I am typically the one that is in control of its usage. Wistia allows us to not only store and save our videos, but also share and embed them into our website and track information retaining to the video.
- The safe storage of video content
- Statistics on video content (watch count, etc.) is easily obtainable
- Integration of the video to our website is easily done through the embed codes available
- Sharing specific video products with other individuals without allowing access to other unrelated content
- Obtaining embed codes for a significantly large number of videos can be very time consuming as there is no way to automatically pull a report.
- Within a project, there is no way to set the list to show a specific number of videos and you may only have a certain number of videos shown unless you click to expand the list and continue to do so.
- Once the list is expanded and you click in to a video, when clicking back, the list reloads and you must expand the entire list again which can become very time consuming.

Video hosting and analytics made easy
We use Wistia to host all our videos that we post on our web properties. We do this so we can control the user experience and not have to deal with YouTube's issues with embedded videos. We also get a better set of analytics with Wistia that with any other platform.

- Easy to use, manage and administer.
- First time we've had quality data on how users (including what users) actually engage with our videos.
- Integration with Pardot. We track the reports constantly and assign prospects to lists and automation rules.
- The integration with Pardot is limited. The data is great, but it's a manual process to act on it. You cannot run any type of automation rules based on video play or specific actions such as percentage of play. This means creating an automation (i.e. completion action, automation rule, segmentation, etc) is not available.

Not for everyone - but powerful for the right user.
We use Wistia to host a large variety of videos in tandem with YouTube. We get the most use out of Wistia with our promotional videos that we host on our website. They allow us to make strategic changes to our videos moving forward. The entire marketing team of 4 has access to and knows how to use the platform. They have a lot of great learning modules as well.

Right now I store my videos there and I also run online classes by embedding my Wistia videos in my website where my students can download them. I love that Wistia allows me to have the video come to the fore while the rest of the screen goes dark and I also love that I am able to use the turnstile if I want.
The problem that it solves for me is that that I can have private videos there that I only let paying people see.

- It's so easy to use and that is important to me--I'm not techy and I need stuff that I can learn fast.
- It's got great bells and whistles. The videos look so professional--it's easy to put on a thumbnail and to make the player do what you want.
- Turnstile is great for capturing email addresses.
- I haven't really used it enough to have any complaints. I'm not techy, as I already said, so I don't know what Wistia could do better. They are thoroughly likable people. Customer service is good. They've got some great energy going, a good blog, and a product that does everything I've asked it to do. Now, I'm not doing a lot with it so I haven't been too demanding. Others may be able to answer better and tell what the cons are.

I'm using Wistia to launch digital products like e-courses and programs, when I send heavy traffic to video presentations. Wistia is a great video hosting for heavy traffic, like product launches and campaigns. Previously, I tried use YouTube but I saw some visitors clicking in the YouTube logo and leaving my site. With Wistia I know that my visitor will stay in my site and watch my entire videos with no distractions.
- Very easy to use. I don't waste my time trying to figure out how to do it.
- The Wistia stats let me know accurate statistics about my visitor engagement.
- Wistia videos were able to play effectively across all devices and browsers.
- For certain type of situations like a limited timed offer I would like to able to set up some "video speed control" on the video player.

We use Wistia for a specific and narrow purpose; to turn our video viewers into subscribers. We use it across our entire organization to generate leads from the (fairly expensive) videos we create. Before Wistia we fumbled with a number of quasi solutions, none effective and we were basically showing the video and hoping the viewers would A) like to subscribe B) remember to subscribe and C) figure how to subscribe. We missed out on thousands of leads.
- Wistia allows us to time our 'ask' for a subscription to the precise second in the video where we are most likely to turn a suspect into a prospect and create a lead.
- Wistia gives a great customer or consumer experience - it's a natural fit with the flow of the video - or a natural pause in the flow :).
- The simplicity of the interface has saved countless hours of staff training and frustration.
- Because my use case is so specific and my needs are so well met, I don't have any brilliant suggestions on improvement - it works!

Wistia is easy to use and affordable
I worked at a company that needed a place to host their training videos. We were experiencing some issues with the previous host. I researched and found Wistia. I made sure that most users would be able to use the site at their place of employment (was the least site that was blocked by a filter). I found Wistia and we did a trial run. Once we decided that it was the best option for us, it was my responsibility to move the 1100 videos to Wistia. The upload process was a breeze. They provided simple step by step instructions on customizing and personalizing the videos for our branding. It is still used in that company today and the videos are hi-def.
- Inexperienced people can use the site.
- Easily walks through customizing videos.
- Can give limited access to co-workers.
- Great analytics information.
- The cost factor for space was unbeatable.
- Accessing the analytics on the videos is a little tricky.
- To add another user was difficult to find.
- Inability to password protect videos so that the person viewing could purchase the videos.
